ESPN’s sportscaster and anchor Stuart Scott and his daughters Sydni and Taelor Scott attended the premiere of “Just Wright” on May 4, 2010 in New York City.
In 2007, Stuart was diagnosed with cancer of the appendix. The cancer is now in remission, but Stuart still remembers his first thoughts when he learned of the devastating news:
“The very first thing I thought of is I’m going to die. We all know what cancer is, but when you hear it associated with yourself I think the very first thing you think is “I’m going to die because cancer kills.” My second thought was ‘I don’t want to leave my two daughters without a father. That’s as dark as anything that you’ll ever think. A thought can’t get any worse than that”.
