Solange Knowles is a singer, mother, and sister of Beyonce Knowles. In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Solange discussed her sister’s pregnancy and personal ambitions of being a great aunt.
When asked if she needed a few pointers on how to be a good aunt, Solange commented: “I don’t need any advice. Because she [Beyonce] has been a phenomenal aunt to my [son Julez], so she sets the tone as an aunt…She sets the tone as an aunt. I’ve set the tone as s mom, so we’re learning from each other.”
Solange has given Beyonce numerous style tips during her pregnancy. As the singer notes in a previous interview, “I go straight to net-a-porter.com and I copy and paste URLs and send them her way. We also go shopping together. She’s getting bigger. It’s so fun when you’re actually really showing and you’re able to showcase that.”
Solange hopes to give her niece the finer things in life when she is born.
