Eric Benet’s newest album entitled The One will hit music stores soon. The singer has released his single “Real Love” to give fans a taste of what his record will be like and has revealed that his daughter India,20, will sing a duet with hIM. Eric states, “The only duet so far for this record is with my daughter, India. She’s incredibly talented. I like showing her off. I’m sure before this project is over there will be a few more surprises on there.”
In a recent interview with Stars Entertainment Benet commented on him having to raise India as a single father after her mother died. Eric said, “I look back at my life. My daughter, India has been the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me. The thought of doing it again, when all the fear is taken out of the equation – I did it when I was a young single dad, half the time, I didn’t know what I was doing. Now I have an amazing 20-year old daughter so now I am ready to do it all again without the fear.”
Benet and wife Manuela Testolini recently welcomed the couple’s first baby girl into the world. They introduced her to the public via Us Weekly last month.
