Laila Ali has partnered with other moms for a cleaner tomorrow. The former boxer recently shot a public service announcement that called for a better environment. “My children are the most important thing to me in this life. So I’m going to do everything that I can to protect them, and that’s why I got involved with the Moms Clean Air Force,” said Laila.

The former boxer also talked about motherhood in relation to polluted air. “My life changed so much when I became a mother because I no longer think about myself when I wake up in the morning, I think about Curtis and Sydney. As moms we have so many things to think about. We’re thinking about feeding the kids and clothing the kids, and bathing them. Now one more big thing, keeping the air clean. I speak out on air pollution because I feel like there are so many kids right now being affected, and it’s really sad.”

Laila and husband Curtis Conway have two children together.
