Former American Idol contestant Tamyra Gray and daughter Sienna Marie Watters,2, hug it out.
Tamyra recently shared her thoughts on being a working mom. She tells BBG, “I’m just now getting back to work. My daughter is a bit older now, she [turned] 2 in July; so I can do a little bit more. However I have a fantastic Nanny. When I decided to go back to work she was introduced to me by a close friend. My daughter fell in love with her. Without her I would not be able to do it, because my heart could not rest; I’m a new mom so I would constantly be worried. Sienna loves her, so I am okay with being at work knowing that my baby went to bed peacefully.”
So what’s next for this career mom?
“In November I am doing my first gig with an orchestra. It’s a six night show in Florida with the Palm Beach Pops. But most importantly I am still working on being a Mom…..which I love!”
Sienna’s dad is ex Color Me Badd member Sam Watters.
