Eddie Murphy’s kids-Eric, Christian,Bria, Shayne, and Myles-came together to support their dad over the weekend during a celebration event for a Spike TV special honoring Murphy for all of his accomplishments, set to air on November 14, 2012. Several celebs, including Adam Sandler and Samuel L. Jackson, paid tribute to the actor who “changed the course of American film history”.
Eddie recently commented on his children serving as critics, saying, “They haven’t seen everything, but they’ve known that I have been in this business. I know I can get an honest critique from my kids. They don’t really watch a lot of my stuff. But the stuff that they do watch, they will be really honest about it.”
While he keeps everyone laughing at his antics, Eddie says his children keep him in good humor. “I find that my kids make me laugh so much,” says the star. Murphy has eight children in all.
