The first family arrived at a Washington D.C. church this morning ahead of a day filled with festivities as the nation celebrates President Obama's second inauguration. The President, First Lady Michelle Obama, daughters Malia,14, and Sasha,11, and mother-in-law Marian Robinson arrived together for service at the historic St. John's Episcopal Church with Vice President Joe Biden and his family.
The first daughters looked elegant as always in coordinating purple ensembles. Malia wore a J Crew coat, as she did when her father was first sworn in four years ago. Sasha’s coat and dress were created by designer Kate Spade.
Thousands of supporters have already gathered into the nation's sunlit capital ahead of this afternoon's festivities.
