DENNIS RODMAN DRAWS INSPIRATION FOR CHILDREN’S SERIES FROM HIS KIDS

Dennis Rodman had much inspiration to work with when penning his first children’s book, thanks to kids Alexis, D.J., and Trinity. The NBA legend recently attributed the completion of his animated book for kids to his children.

As father to one young adult and two tweens, Rodman was able to use the experiences of his children in terms of peer pressure and academic success as fuel for his penning. “I just want little kids today just to understand, ain’t no matter what you do in life, be different, rich or poor man, guess what, it’s OK to be who you are pretty much and you’ll be accepted,” said Rodman during his book’s press conference.

The author added, “For a guy like me to be very eccentric, to even go to extremes to write a children’s book with all the wild things I do and make it believable was pretty much incredible. Kind of funny, huh?”

Rodman’s book, Dennis the Wild Bull, is available for purchase at the NBA legend’s website and at Amazon’s bookstore. Alexis, D.J., and Trinity are Rodman’s children from marriages to Annie Bakes (Alexis’ mother) and Michelle Moyer (D.J. and Trinity’s mom).
