Dwyane Wade is teaming up with James Patterson to help kids read. The Miami ‘Heat’ star and bestselling author recently visited Ponce de Leon Middle School in Coral Gables to encourage students to read more.

Patterson, who has written several bestselling novels, has long been a supporter of anything that will increase the literacy rate among school-aged children telling the press, “It’s a massive problem. Dwyane and I have the same agenda: We want to get more kids reading. For me, this is about saving lives.”
