Beyonce has high hopes for 1-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter. The superstar recently partnered with Gucci to support their ‘Chime For Change’ campaign, which seeks to empower women around the world, and told the press that she tells her daughter that she can be the country’s CEO one day.
“I’m telling my daughter every day, ‘You know you can be president, you know it’s possible,'” said Bey. “I know she has no idea why I’m saying that, but at one-year-old, I’m like, ‘You know you can be president’…I have always felt strongly about equal opportunity for women. Girls have to be taught from early on that they are strong and capable of being anything they want to be.”
Beyonce has done much to empower women since reaching super-stardom over ten years ago. The celeb currently has an all-girl band that supports her musically while she sings. Blue Ivy is Bey and husband Jay-Z’s first child together. Find out more about ‘Chime For Change’ here.
