Comedian/actor Mike Epps and family attended the Minnie Gifting Lounge during the 2013 Radio Disney Awards at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on April 27, 2013 in Los Angeles, California.
When not busy working and spending time with his family, Mike, along with wife Mechelle, oversee the Michael and Mechelle Epps Foundation.
“We decided to start the foundation because we know a lot of kids could be great adults, if they had the proper support as children. Last year, NBC reported that nearly 1.2 million teens hit the street every year unable to read or write. And according to CNN, 7,000 high school students drop out every year, that’s one every 26 seconds,” says Mechelle Epps, the mother of two of Mike's kids.
Mike Epps is best known for starring in films like “Friday,” “Friday After Next,” “The Hangover” and “Sparkle” as well as his comedy DVD Mike Epps Presents: Live form Club Nokia.
