PHAEDRA PARKS: ‘PEOPLE ARE TOO HARD ON PREGNANT WOMEN’

Phaedra Parks is calling for the public to give pregnant women a break. The reality star recently visited the ‘Rickey Smiley Morning Show’ where she talked about the pressure that expectant moms sometimes get from the public to be both skinny and pregnant.

“I’m thin and pregnant. I’m a regular-sized woman,” said the reality star. “I’m all-natural. All this, God gave me, I grew it. And I mean, everybody’s not made to be skinny, everybody’s not made to be fat. So you gotta be happy [with] the skin you’re in. I’m advertising what’s real.”

The star continued, “When women are pregnant, they are going through a whole transition. I’m growing a baby…People are too hard on pregnant women. Obviously you don’t want to gain a lot of weight but at the end of the day, some people do. It just happens. You’re not suppose to be skinny and pregnant.”

Phaedra is expecting her and husband Apollo Nida’s second child. The couple currently have a son named Ayden.
