Motherhood is being singled out as gold in Karyn Greer and David Manuel’s book, I Am a Mother. Jasmine Guy and Regina Belle are two of many celeb moms featured in the publication, as parents who care for and celebrate their children are held high.
After several years of demonstrating stellar journalism skills, Karyn Greer has decided to dedicate her first book to moms because of all of the hard work they give in nurturing their kids. “[Motherhood is] perhaps by far the most rewarding and challenging role any of us have ever undertaken,” explains the journalist.
“Many of us have dreamed of one day becoming a Mother to a healthy and beautiful baby. We’ve worried how we will raise them to be outstanding citizens and scholars ready for whatever society dishes out. Others find themselves thrust into the role of a Mother and to them it means being a caregiver, teacher, chauffeur, or guardian to the little people who will be our next leaders.”
I Am a Mother is written in celebration of moms everywhere. Jasmine Guy and her daughter are featured on the cover of the book, while Regina Belle and her five kids are found within the pages of the publication.
