It was all about Meek Mill and Papi on Sunday (July 14), as the rapper brought his son onstage to meet the crowd during his performance on the The Space Migration Tour in Philadelphia. Meek showed much affection for his son who he often refers to as Papi via social media sites, holding him high and telling him to wave to adoring fans. Mill was one of several artists to hit the stage at the Festival Pier and turn the party out with his lyrics.
The rapper previously told media that having a son was a a gift from God that he could handle. “God won’t give you nothing you can’t handle. I can’t handle no girl yet,” said Mill.
As an entertainer who is becoming more popular by the day, Meek follows his philosophy of confidence when fathering or working to provide for his family. “I believe that you have to strongly know what you’re going to do in life, you can’t assume you have to just know it for a fact in this game. Whatever you may want, you have to know you can get it,” explains the star.
Meek is a native of Philadelphia. His son is his first child.
