Monica and husband Shannon Brown have much to celebrate as they are expecting their first child together and rang in two years of marriage last week. Monica reminisced about the glorious day of her and Shannon wedding in front of family and friends tweeting, “July 9th 2011…. One of the best days of my life as the years pass by our love grows stronger each day!!! God is love & his love guided us to one another.” The singer also shared a few pics from the big day, giving Twitter fans a bit of insight into her personal life.
Monica and Shannon are expecting their bundle of joy to arrive in the coming months. The singer has two kids, Rodney Jr. and Romelo, with Rodney “Rocko” Hill.
