Newlyweds Amar’e and Alexis Stoudemire wade in the Jordan River while on a family vacation in Jerusalem. Alijah, the newest member of the family, sticks close to dad while Amar’e Jr. stands in the water beside his parents. Missing from the photo are daughters Assata and Ar’e.
Amar’e and Alexis recently gave Essence the exclusive pleasure of featuring their wedding pictures, and not only were they looking great but the kids were also looking fresh. Ar’e, Assata, and Amar’e Jr. were the glamorous bunch, with the girls wearing red dresses and the little gentleman rocking a tuxedo. The camera caught a picture of the Stoudemire kids holding hands as the family formed a circle on the dance floor at the reception.
Mr. Stoudemire reflected on the blissful day of his wedding with Essence telling the media source, “Seeing my wife walk down the aisle and having my children be in the wedding was one of my favorite moments. My son Alijah actually made quite a few noises, but of course only during the moment of silence.”
The Stoudemires wed last year in December, just months before Alexis gave birth to baby Alijah. The couple have four kids together.
