Holly Robinson-Peete showed lots of love for Forest Whitaker and other actors in The Butler by attending the premiere of the movie with her daughter in Los Angeles on Monday night. Holly and Ryan looked stunning as they graced the red carpet and eventually made their way into Regal Cinemas theater. Both the mother and daughter smiled for photographers and mingled before watching the film. Forest Whitaker and his family were also in attendance at the Los Angeles premiere.
The Butler has received much praise for its ability to bring the civil rights movement to the big screen. Although many films have made reference to the movement in their plots, few have given an in-depth look at the uprising like The Butler. Forest Whitaker and Oprah Winfrey do a marvelous job of taking the audience back in time to experience the tension that led up to the historical movement.
The Butler will be released to the general audience on Friday (August 16). Holly and Rodney Peete Sr. have four kids together.
