Mike Epps and his wife Mechelle took their daughters Maddie and Mariah shopping at Fred Segal in West Hollywood, California on September 3, 2013. The actor/comedian was in full daddy mode as he listened to his youngest daughter talk.
Mike will get to let his acting and comedic skills shine through in an upcoming film centered around the late Richard Pryor. Mike will portray the legendary comedian in all of his glory, giving audiences something laugh about while paying homage to an icon. “The only thing I can do is be at your service if you ask me to, and represent the man,” said Mike to media a few months back. “He’s a wizard of comedy. So everybody’s got to bow down to him. My job is to represent him right. In my mind, I already know that if he could talk, he would be real with me and he would tell me [in Richard Pryor voice], ‘Look, little m***********, let me tell you something! You’ve got to represent me right!’ I can’t do an impression of him. I’m just telling a story through me. I’m telling a Richard Pryor story through me.”
Mike and Michelle have two kids, Maddie and Mariah, together. The comedian also has four children in all.
