Heidi Klum allows her kids to influence the way she views life. The model recently told media that her kids help her see beauty in the world and bring out her artistic side.
“I think kids need to get their hands dirty – to paint, sculpt, create – in order to express themselves,” said Klum. “As adults we’re told we need to color inside the lines, but I don’t think you should ever tell a child that. Let them scribble-scrabble like crazy and see what comes out. Creativity is about trying something new.”
The celeb went on to talk about her experience at a French restaurant, where she wanted her children to try a new item on the menu. “I wanted the kids to try escargot. They went, ‘Ew, icky!’ But they all tried it. I think that says a lot about having an open mind,” explained the star.
