Charlize Theron doesn’t talk about her son at every waking opportunity but when she does, it’s definitely moving. The actress recently spoke with media about Jackson at Variety’s ‘Power of Women’ charity event, comparing him to heaven on earth.
“He’s not little any more—he’s huge,” gushed Theron. “He’s just growing at a rate that I feel like every morning, I’m going to walk into his room and he’s going to be like Hercules, like busting out of his pajamas…He’s amazing. He truly is heaven on toast.”
The actress went on to talk about her charity, which aims to end the spread of HIV/AIDS in Africa, telling E! that motherhood has caused her to do more in the fight. “You start thinking about the legacy that you want to leave behind for your child [and] I want him to be proud of me in a way that’s authentic,” said the star.
Charlize Theron announced her adoption of Jackson in March 2012. The little one turned 1-years-old in February.
