Deion Sanders loves spending time with one of his favorite girls. The athlete was recently captured while embracing his daughter on the field, telling Twitter fans that he makes it a practice to tell Shelomi how much she means to him every time they hang out. “I Love my baby girl so much and I tell her every hour on the hour. Dads express your love verbally to your kids. TRUTH,” tweeted Sanders next to a photo of his cheer leading princess.
Deion has been sharing custody of Shelomi with ex-wife Pilar Sanders since a judge ruled in his favor a few months back. Although Pilar fought with great passion, the courts deemed Deion as more capable of caring for the couple’s children than her at the moment. The ex-wife of the former athlete was also forced to surrender custody of her and Deion’s sons who now reside with dad full time.
Pilar and Deion filed for divorce on September 22, 2011. The couple’s marriage dissolution was finalized a few months back.
