Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade has sold a sitcom to Fox based on his life as an NBA star and single father to two boys.
‘Three the Hard Way’ will be the story of Dwyane’s life as told through Daryl Wade, who wins gold medals and full custody of his two sons. Daryl must seek the help of professionals and friends if he ever hopes to balance his career with family life. In addition to Dwyane, Zion and Zaire will also get to see portraits of themselves as the sons featured in the sitcom based off their lives.
Wade has deemed fatherhood as one of the most important things in life. “Fatherhood, to me, isn’t something you do for awards or acclaim. It’s a privilege and a huge responsibility,” explains the athlete. “Being a father is the most important and rewarding thing I will ever do, and I strongly encourage all fathers to love and take responsibility for their children.”
Zion and Zaire are Dwyane Wade’s kids with ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches.
