Brandy Norwood is teaming up with Text4Baby to spread health and wellness to expecting moms. The R&B singer announced her role as ambassador to media earlier this week, telling the press that she was happy to partner with an organization that spreads helpful information to moms-to-be.
“With Text4baby’s free, personalized messages, pregnant women and new mothers can receive the critical information they need, exactly when they need it,” said the star. “The messages are helpful, interactive, and provide that extra bit of support we all need when raising a child.”
During its four years of operation, Text4Baby has given more than 600,000 moms critical information about pregnancy and child rearing through a series of text messages. The company provides its services free of charge to women who text BABY to 511411.
Text4Baby will debut Brandy as its new ambassador to subscribers through a series of texts and promotional videos in coming weeks. Brandy has one child, Sy’rai, with ex-boyfriend Robert “Big Bert” Smith.
