The pregnant celeb graced the event with her presence, looking fabulous as ever in a blue gown that showed off her arms. Kerry certainly let her glow shine through as she smiled and presented a bit of humor while on the red carpet.
Washington was one of many honored by the NAACP, winning the Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series award for her role as Olivia Pope in ‘Scandal.’ The show’s executives recently announced their decision to hold off on filming the last four episodes of the television drama due to Kerry’s impending due date in Spring. “The actress’ spring due date would’ve made shooting those final four episodes next to impossible,” said Michael Ausiello of TV Line.
Kerry Washington is expecting her first child with husband Nnamdi Asomugha. The couple wed last year.
