Cocoa Brown and her son couldn’t let the weekend pass without stopping by Safe Kids Day on Saturday (April 5). The Single Moms Club actress and her tot were a matching pair, with Cocoa wearing a gray outfit underneath her white wrap that completely coincided with her son’s jacket which had remnants of gray in it.
Safe Kids Day was all about prevention this year as the campaign rallied several corporations to support its cause of keeping kids out of harms way. Thousands of children are injured every year in what many perceive to be preventable accidents. From tots pulling down heavy objects on themselves while playing around at home to kids falling out of bunk beds at night, hundreds of children become susceptible to the dangers lurking around their house and community. Safe Kids Day was created to spread awareness about these dangers and hence prevent accidents from happening.
This year’s event was held in West Hollywood, and hosted several other celebrities in addition to Cocoa and her son.
