Snoop Dogg and the family are holding strong after losing a loved one. The rapper suffered devastation last Sunday (March 30) when his uncle passed away from colon cancer at 70-years-old. “Headin to the celebration of my uncles life,” wrote Snoop on the day of his uncle’s funeral. “Pray for me y’all to b strong through it all.”
Uncle June Bug was a beloved family member and full supporter of Snoop Dogg and his dreams. He often toured with the rap star and brought life to the stage during many of Snoop’s shows. Although June Bug passed away on Sunday, a family friend told media that the 70-year-old lived a week longer than expected after receiving a visit in the hospital from Snoop.
Snoop Dogg and wife Shante Broadus have three kids together. The rapper is pictured with his daughter, Cori Broadus, above.
