50 CENT SAYS SON’S MOM IS TO BLAME FOR STRAINED RELATIONSHIP

The relationship between 50 Cent and Marquise seems to be progressively heading South, and Fiddy says his older son’s mother is to blame. “He [has] completely embraced his mom’s perspective [on the situation],” says the rapper. “It’s a part of that entitlement.”

Fiddy goes on to share how Shaniqua Tompkins seeks to completely destroy his relationship with his son to get back at him for not granting all of her wishes in life. “Everything in his life is something I’ve provided for,” says Fiddy of his son. “Regardless of [whether] I’m there or not.”

The rap star adds, “[Shaniqua] hasn’t worked since 2000. So tell me how you do that as a single mom? What is your child’s lifestyle like right now minus your career since 2000?…Her being at home since 2000 is saying that what I provide for him is enough for her to not have to actually go to work. So it already takes that pressure off in that way, but it’s still not quite enough because she still [feels] like destroying the relationship [between my son and I] is a way of getting back [at me]. That’s her response to not getting the things that she wanted, the way she wanted it.”

Shaniqua took her claim of 50 Cent being a bad parent to the media a few months back, telling TMZ that the former G-Unit rapper hadn’t seen his son since 2012. All of this information came after Fiddy and Marquise had a falling out on Twitter at the beginning of last year.

Marquise is 50 Cent and Shaniqua’s only child together. The rapper also has a son named Sire.
