Diggy Simmons recently gave a special girl the shock of her life.

He surprised, Alexandria Christopher, a New York high school student, with a visit to her 10th grade English classroom to inform her that she had been chosen to be in the Get Schooled Times Square Yearbook.

The teen rapper joined forces with BCG friends Get Schooled, a non-profit organization that helps young people that are graduating from high school. Diggy spoke to Alexandia’s class about the importance of English and how it helps him when he’s writing lyrics.

All US high school students can submit stories explaining why they deserved to be recognized to Get Schooled. Four hundred of the best participants will get their photos featured at the busiest intersection in the world on June 11th.
