Zendaya seems to be having the best year ever! The 17-year-old singer/actress is starring in an upcoming new movie (Zapped) and a new TV pilot (K.C. Undercover) and much more. Now she recently announced that she has been named the face of the Material Girl Collection.
Zendaya’s “Boardwalk Babe” campaign photos were taken on Coney Island boardwalk in Brooklyn, New York.
Material Girl is a clothing line, available exclusively at Macy’s, by none of than the original Material Girl-Madonna and her daughter Lola (Lourdes).
“So excited to announce that I am the new Material Girl!! I can’t believe that Madonna and Lola chose me!! (wait, that means they know who I am!!),” Zendaya posted on her webpage.
Lourdes is also excited about having Zendaya coming on board.
“I love how Zendaya makes her own style to fit her personality- that’s who Material Girl is all about, being yourself to the fullest,” Lola stated.
