Jacob Latimore may be young, but he’s playing a big man’s game, and is growing for it. In an interview with Singer’s Room, the young celeb explained that he’s becoming more mature and wants his fan base to notice.
“I took some time off just to grow up a little bit,” he said. “I’m young, but this is definitely a grown man’s business… This industry will grow you up, that’s why you see a lot of teen artists that seem more mature because this business makes you mature.”
The singer recently turned 18, and feels that growing up is even effecting his music. He explained that as he gets older he can relate to more things, and that that will all be reflected in his work. He also chatted about his new single “Heartbreak Heard Around the World,” and admitted having not been in love before, the song is more intense than the pain he is familiar with.
