Sean Patrick Thomas and his little ones were three of many celebrities to attend Sunday’s premiere of The Boxtrolls at Universal City Walk in Universal City, California. The actor held his son, Luc, and daughter, Lola, close as photographers took pictures. Both of the little ones were ready for the spotlight as they showed no fear on the red carpet.
The Boxtrolls is a film about an orphaned boy who is raised by underground monsters that civilized residents refer to as boxtrolls. Although he is human, the boy develops similar characteristics of these monsters that cause him to wear a box and only come out at night. It isn’t until an evil exterminator vows to destroy all of the boxtrolls that the boy decides to come out of his shell and live life as a human being. With the help of his underground friends and a girl that he meets while in the mainland, the boy just may be able to stop the exterminator in his tracks.
The Boxtrolls makes its debut in theaters on Friday, September 26, 2014. Sean Patrick Thomas has two kids.
