Congratulations to Tyler Perry and girlfriend Gelila who reportedly welcomed their first child into the world over Thanksgiving weekend. Gelila’s sister apparently shared the delightful news a few days ago.
“Auntie is the best title I’ve ever been given,” tweeted Gelila’s sister. “The love of my life has finally arrived,” added the excited family member.
Tyler and Gelila have kept details surrounding their expectancy private. In fact, the ‘House of Payne’ creator didn’t even tell media that his girlfriend was expecting until after a family friend shared a picture of Gelila while pregnant. “[We’re] Very happy,” said Perry shortly after the friend spilled the beans. “She’s excited, I’m excited so we’re very happy.”
Tyler is now the proud father of a son, if Gelila did indeed give birth last week. The producer has not yet confirmed or denied his little one’s arrival.
