Leila Roker has officially entered another stage in life. The teen recently celebrated her sixteenth birthday, which is a milestone by most people’s standards.
Leila wore a black dress that was both elegant and stylish. The teen was calm as she blew out the candles on her cake that was designed like a merry-go-round. While many teens her age opt to go all out for their sweet sixteen birthday celebration, Leila chose to keep the festivities simple and celebrate with close family members and friends.
Her simple approach to life in many ways reflects her father, Al Roker. Although he is a celebrated anchor and author, Al does not showcase his wealth.
His approach to fatherhood is also one of ease. “You don’t have to try to impress your kids,” said Roker when his book, Don’t Make Me Stop This Car! Adventures in Fatherhood, made its debut a few years back. “If they’re not getting what they need from you, they will let you know.”
