Snoop Dogg is telling his college-bound son to go where he is most desired, and not where he most desires to go. Except, of course, if the school that he wants to attend is USC; then all bets are off.

The celebrated rapper recently told media that he encourages his son, Cordell, to select a school that truly wants his skills on the field as well as his knowledge in the classroom. “Go where you are wanted, not where you want to go,” said Snoop when asked about the advice he gives his son. Snoop was then asked what his response would be if Cordell did not choose USC. “Well, that’s different, hold on now, wait a minute,” said the star.

It is no secret that Snoop Dogg is a big fan of the ‘Trojans.’ Cordell is fully aware of his father’s love of the team, and has told media that he is thinking of attending the school.

Cordell has also expressed desire to attend other prominent universities in the West. One school, in particular, that has captured his attention is the University of Oregon. “I have fifteen offers right now and it’s going pretty good,” said Broadus during one interview. “I like Oregon State because they throw the ball a lot. But I also want to get an offer from [the University of] Oregon. I’m highly interested in that school, but I’m waiting patiently.”

Regardless of what school Cordell chooses, we’re sure his father will support him all the way. Snoop Dogg is the proud parent of three kids.
