Mashonda Tifrere is enjoying winter days with her son. The singer recently shared pictures of her with Kasseem Jr., while hanging out in the slopes of Whistler Blackcomb. The resort is just 125 km north of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and is a a ski lover’s delight.

“What an adventurous weekend! Created amazing memories,” wrote Mashonda along with one picture of her and Kasseem with family friends that included Alicia Keys’ brother. The singer also shared footage of her little one hitting the slopes. How cool!

Although she and ex-husband Swizz Beatz have experienced challenges in the area of co-parenting, the two have managed to work out their differences for the sake of their son. Swizz even told media that he, current wife Alicia Keys, and Mashonda have reached common ground. “Everybody has graduated to a very mature level,” said the producer during one interview. “It’s not how you start, it’s how you end it and these two amazing women are coming together for the kids like, you know what, it can be a positive message in this moving forward.”
