Kasseem Dean Jr. was one of several models to walk the runway for Laurel DeWitt’s fashion show at Church of the Holy Apostles on February 15, 2015.
Kasseem showcased DeWitt’s latest designs that included a chainmail style poncho with hoodie. The designer is known for her edgy style, and this season’s show certainly brought her most unique wear to the forefront.
“NYFW is over for me because @laureldewitt just ended her show,” wrote Mashonda Tifrere, Kasseem’s mom, on Instagram. “Best show ever!! I don’t need to see anything else,” shared the singer.
This is the third time that Kasseem has modeled for Laurel. The designer tells BlackCelebKids.com that the youngster became a part of her shows after she and Mashonda developed a good relationship as friends. “Kasseem is like a nephew to me. I am very close friends with his mom Mashonda and i just wanted to make my little prince for the runway and here he is, his third season. Every year he gets better and it is so amazing to watch him grow,” says Laurel.
