LOL! ELLEN POMPEO DESCRIBES THE SIBLING BOND BETWEEN HER DAUGHTERS

We can always count on kids to be honest. Ellen Pompeo recently told Ellen DeGeneres that her oldest daughter, Stella, got candid about her little sister’s presence in the house shortly after little Sienna came home; and it wasn’t the lovable reaction that most expect siblings to express.

“She liked her at first,” said Pompeo of Stella’s initial reaction. “After three months, she was like, ‘Is she leaving?’ I was like, ‘No, no, she’s going to live here.’ And she was like, ‘Oh, okay.'”

The actress further explained, “She had about a month where she was not in a good mood. Bad mood every day for a month. And now that passed and now she’s fine.”

Regardless of how she felt during the beginning stages, Stella is a lovable girl who wants to help others. “She wants to be an emergency room doctor,” said Pompeo of her daughter’s career aspirations. The 5-year-old has watched her mom on the set of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ often, and become fascinated with the medical field.

“Linda Klein is our medical producer, wonderful woman [and] good friend of mine, and she just wants to go straight to Linda’s office and play with all the medical things,” shared Pompeo. “Yesterday I went in to find her [and] she was with Linda with a bone drill, drilling a fake femur bone with a real bone drill. She was supervised, but they have her doing advanced procedures!”

Stella will turn 6-years-old this Fall. Little Sienna will celebrate her first birthday in August. Ellen and husband Chris Ivery will mark their eight year wedding anniversary in November.
