Ava Dash is out to change the world, one charitable cause at a time.   The 15-year-old daughter of Damon Dash and Rachel Roy not only volunteers her time  cooking and serving food to homeless teenagers , but she also mentors inner-city high school girls.

Ava first discovered she wanted to give back to her peers at the age of 6, when she visited orphanages in Ghana with her mother, designer Rachel Roy. “It was eye-opening,” Ava explains to Teen Vogue. “The kids weren’t that different from me; they just needed support.”

The teenager adds of her mother, “I trust her opinion. She reminds me to be strong, kind, and self-aware.”
