Shriners Hospitals for Children participated in the 127th Rose Parade presented by Honda on Friday, Jan. 1, 2016, in Pasadena, Calif., for the sixth consecutive year. The hospital carries the mission of providing “the highest quality care to children with neuromusculoskeletal conditions, burn injuries and other special healthcare needs within a compassionate, family-centered and collaborative care environment.” Shriners also specializes in educating physicians and leads the way with medical research that enhances children’s lives.
Shar has been quite busy with charity work these past few weeks. In fact, the actress hosted this year’s ‘Generation Next’ event in Burbank that was organized to raise funds for at-risk youth in Los Angeles.
Jackson is the proud mother of four children.
