Tameka “Tiny” Harris is feeling blessed as an expectant mom. The reality star opens up about her and husband T.I.’s excitement over baby number seven in a new interview with Rolling Out.
“It’s a blessing,” Tameka shares. “It’s different. With all the other kids, [T.I.] was there and involved and there with me. But this one is a little different. I guess because we’re both more mature and he’s not afraid to go all out the box and do things like singing to the baby and reading to the baby.”
Tiny has big plans for their little one that include road trips. “I can’t wait to be able to take my baby on the road with me and still be a mommy and still handle my business and really make a mark in the industry,” she says. “I went to ‘The Real,’ and Tamera [Mowry] always has her little baby there. And I’m like, yeah, I’m going to be doing that one day, you know going to work and having my little one with me. The other ones are too bad to go, you know. But this one will be able to go.”
In many ways, Tiny’s pregnancy is like a ray of hope to other women who are hoping to have children later in life. “I’ve been looking it up because I was feeling old, and I was like there [are] a lot of 40-year-old women having babies,” she explains. “I’m glad to be in the ballpark because this is my last child, of course, because I’m 40, and I’m just excited about this baby. I think I’m really mature and ready to be with this baby.”
T.I. and Tiny are expecting their third child together. The couple currently parents six kids.
