Stephen Curry had quite the birthday celebration with his wife and kids a few days ago. The Golden State Warriors player enjoyed the company of family and friends at a party thrown in honor of his special day on Sunday. While the camaraderie and food at the party was great, the highlight of the day came when Stephen’s oldest daughter, Riley, sang the birthday song.
The toddler faced her father while belting out the lyrics to the tune. Stephen was all smiles during the presentation and was sure to thank his little one when the selection concluded.
Curry often boasts of the joy that fatherhood brings. “Being a father kind of gives you something more to play for,” he said during one interview. “I think off the court, it just grounds you every day, because no matter if I have a good game, bad game, score 40, score 10, I think [Riley’s] going to be happy to see me when I get home, and that kind of makes everything all right. So I rarely ever have a bad day, regardless of what happens on the court.”
Riley is Stephen and wife Ayesha Curry’s oldest child. The couple also have a daughter named Ryan who was born last year.
