Life is good for Crystal Renay and Ne-Yo who have one of the happiest newborn’s on earth. The celebrity couple recently shared pictures of their son, Shaffer Chimere Smith Jr., who was smiling from ear to ear while asleep.
“As long as you’re face always holds this much happiness,” Crystal captioned underneath one picture. Little Shaffer appeared to be laughing in his sleep as his eyes were closed and he was laying down. Another candid featured the little one with dad. He wore a delighted look while being cuddled by Ne-Yo.

Crystal has been in the clouds since welcoming her son earlier this month. Little Shaffer was born on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, by way of cesarean section. “Prince Shaffer Chimere Smith Jr has arrived! 6lbs 8oz, 19 inches,” Crystal shared with social media fans shortly after labor and delivery.

“It was the scariest delivery ever and I ended up getting a emergency c-section cause of complications but with the help of my amazing doctor Sheryl Ross and my super calming husband NE-YO I was able to get through it all and come out with best reward in the world,” she explained.
Shaffer Chimere Smith Jr., is Ne-Yo and Crystal’s first child together. Ne-Yo also has two children, Madilyn and Mason, with children’s author Monyetta Shaw.
