Mommy and me. Beyonce and Blue Ivy Carter spent quality time together before the Pop singer took the stage for the first night of her Formation tour. Bey smiled while holding Blue close. The two rubbed noses as they sat on the steps of the stage.
Mrs. Carter has been the center of media attraction since releasing her Lemonade visual album on Saturday. A number of the singer’s songs have been analyzed and scrutinized by fans. In particular, ‘Sorry’ has been deemed a song about Bey’s life as a loyal wife despite her husband Jay-Z’s supposed infidelity. Many Beyhive fans have speculated that “Becky with the good hair” is celebrity stylist Rachel Roy.
While the singer has refrained from responding to speculation, Beyonce did acknowledge her family during the first night of the Formation tour. “We were driving to rehearsal today and [Blue] said ‘Mommy, are we going to your work?’ And it reminded me that I dreamed of this day my whole life,” the singer told fans on Wednesday. She then thanked her husband for making her wish a reality.
Blue is Beyonce and Jay-Z’s only child. She celebrated her fourth birthday in January.
