CORI BROADUS IS LOVING THE SKIN SHE’S IN

At 17-years-old, Cori Broadus has overcome major insecurities and is comfortable in her own skin. The young star recently took to Instagram to tell fans that she loves every part of herself.

“I can finally say I’m comfortable in my own skin,” Cori shared. The teen went on to tell fans that she “grew up despising the skin tone I was in because it’s been bashed on for so long and society has been putting in our heads that dark is ugly.” Cori ended her note by encouraging dark-skinned girls and women to lavish in their beauty and resist those who attempt to bring down their self-esteem.

Thousands praised Cori for her boldness in sharing her perspective. “Thank you for sharing such a personal perspective with the world,” one follower wrote. “You are beautiful, baby girl,” another commented.

Cori is the only daughter of Snoop Dogg and wife Shante Broadus. Snoop is one celebrity dad who always encourages his kids to pursue their passions regardless of what others may think. Such characteristic is what Cordell Broadus, Snoop’s youngest son, conveyed when wishing his father well on the rapper’s birthday last year.

“I played football for my father because I thought that was the only way he would love me and be a part of my life,” Cordell said in a heartfelt message. “It took me 12 years to realize he loves Cordell Broadus the person, not Cordell Broadus the football player. The best day of my life was when I heard those exact words,” Cordell explained.

Snoop Dogg is the proud father of three kids. The rapper’s oldest son, Corde, made him a grandfather last January.
