Mariah Carey’s life as a mom and superstar take center stage in the singer’s docu-series, Mariah’s World. Carey tells media about Monroe and Moroccan’s experience while filming her show.
“I wanted to make sure … that they were comfortable at all times,” the singer tells TODAY. “I never wanna be a stage mom. Like, that’s not me.”
Mariah was initially against having her twins featured in Mariah’s World. “Actually, I wasn’t going to have them in the docu-series at all,” she reveals. “But they were with me — they’ve got their activities [and there’s] so many different things that they’re learning [that are] really invaluable.”
Monroe and Moroccan are Mariah Carey’s kids with ex-husband Nick Cannon. The twins celebrated their fifth birthdays in April and will soon be older siblings to their father’s child with ex-girlfriend Brittany Bell.
