A day at the park is that much better when spent with mom. Titan Witherspoon can attest to this as he took a ride on the swings and other equipment at the Coldwater Canyon Park in Beverly Hills, California on Thursday.
Kelly was all smiles while pushing her son along on the swing set. The celebrity mom laughed out loud in one shot while holding her son’s sippy cup. Titan was looking elsewhere in the candid as he enjoyed the ride.
Rowland adds the title of author to her resume with her book about motherhood called Whoa, Baby! The R&B singer completed the project in partnership with OB-GYN Dr. Tristan Emily Bickman to inform new moms of changes that occur as the result of having a baby.
“Dr. Bickman and I wanted to create an answer to what to expect after childbirth. No one told me what to expect physically, emotionally, or mentally,” Kelly revealed. “The purpose of Whoa, Baby! is to comfort the mother and give her knowledge of what’s going on with her. We cover everything!”
“Everything” definitely emotional stability. According to the book’s description,
“When vocalist and actress Kelly Rowland, whose albums have sold millions of copies worldwide, gave birth to her son, it was love at first sight. But she was also a little freaked out about what had happened to her body and the overwhelming new thoughts and emotions.”
Whoa, Baby! is an answered prayer for many first-time moms who may not understand the body’s process of healing itself and the need to emotionally bounce back after labor and delivery.
