Power Rangers! Walter Jones and his family joined many others at the premiere of Lionsgate’s Power Rangers film earlier this week.
The actor took the red carpet with his two favorite guests who were more than thrilled to greet photographers. The kids waved while taking in Walter’s embrace.
Fans of ‘Power Rangers,’ the television series are thrilled about the 2017 movie version. Walter was the original Black Ranger who helped lead the way to a sort of revolution in science fiction television series for kids.
“We had no idea that it would become what it is now,” Jones said during a recent interview. “There are not many shows that have that kind of staying power,” he added. “We were the number one kids’ show in the United States for a while, and it’s definitely been great to have been part of it. It’s amazing to see that we have generations of fans! It’s kind of like like it’s in the realm of stuff like ‘Star Trek’ and ‘Battlestar Galactica’.”
