“This school is so important to me because our vision is to create a place for the kids in Akron who need it most — those that could fall through the cracks if we don’t do something,” Lebron shared with media.

The star athlete’s foundation has contributed much to the education sphere since its inception several years ago. I Promise, in particular, has been quite influential as the funding source for full scholarships

It was just a few weeks ago that LeBron encouraged children in the I Promise program to persevere this school year. “We don’t hang our heads when we get a bad grade,” he wrote in an open letter. “We learn and we grow. We don’t get an attitude when our teachers or parents correct foolish behavior, we learn and we grow. We learn and we grow.”

LeBron James and his wife, Savannah, are the proud parents of two sons, Bryce and LeBron Jr., and a daughter named Zhuri who celebrates her third birthday in October. Stay tuned for more about I Promise School.
