LET’S TALK ABOUT THE $10,000 MISCHKA AOKI DRESS THAT BLUE IVY CARTER WORE TO THE WEARABLE ART GALA

Blue Ivy Carter stole the show at her grandma’s Wearable Art Gala. Blue took the red carpet with her aunt, Solange Knowles, where the two posed it up for the cameras.

“These are two peas in the pod,” Tina Lawson shared online. “They are throwing up the Tre Sign (third ward) Houston Texas (our hood),” the proud mother and grandmother exclaimed.

Many fans knew that Blue’s dress was stylish, but few had knowledge of how much money the little one’s dress cost. According to Mischka Aoki, the designer, Blue’s dress cost well over $8,000 and up to $10,700 in standard form. Miss Carter’s dress was custom-made with “thousands of Swarovski crystals and floating butterflies,” so you know that it cost more than the average.

This isn’t the first time that Blue Ivy’s style has outshined her peers and adults. In fact, the little one has an InStyle page dedicated to her fashionable wardrobe. “Blue Ivy may be only five, but her wardrobe already outstrips that of most adults on almost every level,” the British version of Vogue shared in a February article dedicated to Blue’s style. “After all, this is a child who wore Dior to the Grammys, aged three,” the editorial added.

Blue certainly didn’t disappoint her adoring fans at this year’s gala event. The little one is Beyonce and Jay-Z’s oldest child as Beyonce is expecting twins in coming months.
