Some have hailed him as the "New King of Pop" while others are just simply in awe of his diversified talent. Whichever it is, nine-year-old JD McCray, also known as JayDon, is well on the road to super stardom. This week the young rising star was featured on Steve Harvey's Little Big Shots, blowing the crowd away with his Jackson-esk vocals and commanding confidence.
McCray, who has been singing since he was two-years-old, has already worked with artists such as Jason Derulo and Dr. Dre.
Hailing from Granada Hills, CA, in addition to his work in the recording studio, McCray has also been seen on the small screen in not only several commercials but he has also appeared on Disney's K.C. Undercover as Young Ernie.
As if that were not impressive enough, McCray's resume even touts that he was hand-picked to feature on Childish Gambino's song "Terrified" from his album Awaken, My Love! Recently, McCray released his own single, "Crush," which is available on SounCloud.
